Sakamoto once one of the world's top assassins. However after marrying the love of his life, he has since retired from the business and lives a quite life. However his past has a habit of trying to drag him back in. Especially when Shin a young gifted assassin gets entangled in his life. Even with Shin's ability to see into thoughts and intentions of people around he's still no match for Sakamoto. And thus Shin starts to work at Sakamoto's grocery store. Can the two live a quite life or are there larger forces at force that will draw Sakamoto back into the business. And that's just the premise. Having kept up with the series it Jump I can say for myself it slowly becomes a spiritual successor to Hunter X Hunter. It starts off slow and a little goofy but trust me it wild before long. The art style is very a fascinating mix of rough sketch and highly detailed clothing and background. It has a very hand drawn look that I love. If you are looking for something a bit dark and complex. Then I can't recommend Sakamoto Day's enough. -MickManga

actually saw this and impulse bought and it was so worth it the last time I made time for a manga was 4 years ago. I am so NOT disappointed the action bits and scenes are great and the story and characters just go together perfectly. (Action Comedy Slice of Life all rolled into one) I'm preordering the rest of them now. It's definitely a refreshing read after a long day. Also books came in perfect condition. I'm so glad I got my sister one too.

Really enjoy the comedy and action bits. The art is really good as well. The characters are pretty like-able. I never read the manga before this came out but I think it looks very promising.
