Having been forced to pull the children out of public schools, as to avoid this rampant discrimination against conservative values, we turned to workbooks. Spectrum books are really great. We've gone through a great many work books over many years. The Spectrum books are among the best at assisting self development without much need for supervisory instruction or parental oversight. Good old fashioned repetitive drilling of concepts, always stepping ahead one lesson at a time. Hardly any wasted page space, way better than so many other options. Thinking of buying a set just for me to brush up on math skills, it's been a mighty long time since I've solved square root equations. But after only a few grades worth of these books, that's exactly what my 11 year old daughter is doing. Self taught from this book set, remarkable. Thank you.
