An awkward teenager puts on Spider-Man's suit, but quickly learns being a hero isn't all photo ops and social media likes.
Yu's new high school is kind of awful. He's failing his classes and striking out socially. Everything changes when he finds one of Spider-Man's costumes abandoned in an alleyway. At first, it's fun to put on the costume and play hero, but when powerful enemies appear, Yu quickly realizes he's out of his element. Still, with the real Spider-Man nowhere to be found, the city needs someone to save it…

I loved it! Wanted to show my support hoping, maybe if enough people paid attention to Fake Red it'd get a second chance. It's 100% worth a read and shows that, really, anybody can be like spiderman. You don't need to be bitten by a radioactive spider to be a hero, and I love that.
The art is incredible. The story is unique for a Spider-Man tale, but keeps the strong foundations of any good Spider story. A must read for any Spider-Man fan.

"Anyone can wear the mask" hits even harder with this release. I implore every Spidey fan to check this out wether it be digital or physical.

What else can I say except it is an amazing manga? The story has some fun and new characters while also staying true to what Spider-Man is. Some parts of the story felt a little rushed but that is because the series was going to be cancelled so the author has to tie up all loose ends. I would definitely recommend this manga to read!

Visually, for starters, the art style is just incredible! Now for the story. I had no idea what to expect or what the title was implying. No spoilers, but this story is really fun and unique. This brings an interesting take to characters we already know and introduce us to a few new ones. I loved this book so much and I hope it does well so that we can potentially get more. (Even though where it ended was a nice little wrap up. I’m just greedy…) Get on it Marvel!!! And the biggest kudos to Yusuke Osawa and his team.
