If you're new to these characters you might really enjoy this series. If you've been part of the fanbase for a long time, you might be disappointed. This title and the previous novels are not written the best. Kami Garcia skips critical information and at times you feel like you're constantly being pulled left and right without any real character development or organic relationships. Damian and Dicks relationship is important in the Gotham Universe and it's not well written here. I'm a big fan of Gabriel Picolo's art and the way he represents the characters. However, there's only a few panels that I felt he really stick out on. I don't think this story allowed for him to truly capture the characters in the way he normally would. Especially this forced dynamic that every character needs to be in a romantic relationship. Which made the aging up of characters a poor choice.

Absolutely love this beautiful style and the continued story. My only feedback is that this series takes a year for the “next chapter” to release.

So unlike the last 3 releases I really wasn’t expecting much from this one. Not a huge fan of Damien but it takes place right after the end of “Beast Boy love Raven”. Looking forward to “Starfire” and I guess “Cyborg” will be after that?

I got my copy of Robin in today and already read it! I love it! I first saw Picolo's Instagram with some fan art of teen titans. When I saw he was illustrating books for them, I had to get them as they came out. Super excited for Starfire next year.

The illusion is beautiful and I love this series, seeing the team all together in the robin book this has been my favorite one but the fashion sense for these characters is so inaccurate and takes me right out of the story. I can't stand the corny t-shirts and style of these characters. It feels dated like how a millennial would dress and not a gen z teenager and it seems like it isn't a big deal but it is. It makes it hard to see myself in these characters and makes them feel far less relatable. Great story great characters but they need a serious wardrobe update, the teen titans would never dress like that and neither would a modern day teenager
