If you asked my son if he liked to read, he'd say no. However, he will also curl up in a chair and read one of these books entirely in a day. He loves the characters and storylines. He's constantly updating me on what is going on in them. As soon as he finished this whole set, he was like, "Where's the next one? How long will it take to get here?" and now I'm making sure I order 2-3 books in advance.

My 8 year old is not a strong reader and was struggling with discouragement. But these books have helped so much! He is devouring them and able to retell the story line and plot points easily. Sometimes, he gets tired and we read a little together. But for the most part, he is reading them on his own. Love the graphics which help with reinforcing what he’s reading.

We have purchased every book from the Bad Guys series and my 4 year old son just loves them, in fact, I actually really look forward to reading them with him at night. The story is funny and actually pretty good, it's written easily enough that my adorable little heathen can read a lot of the words without trouble. For a kids book, I definitely recommend it. It has quite a bit of potty humour, but so do kids so, if you don't mind the potty humour, they are good books for your kids!
