Book five in the Wyoming Rancher’s series can be read as a stand alone. However the other stories are really good and characters cross over between books; you’ll want to read them all! Author Jill Kemerer has given us a wonderful community of friends who care for and watch over each other. I’d love to join them! Realistic characters who struggle with the same issues many of us face made the story even more enjoyable. And add in a darling little boy who wants the nanny for a mama and you won’t be able to put it down. I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

I have loved this series from the very beginning and have been waiting to for more of Austin Watkins story. He is a man of honor, compassionate and a need to prove he can manage his ranch, it’s gotten difficult since he needs the help of someone who can care for his child while he works hard making his ranch profitable and successful. I loved Cassie Berber; she was the person Austin needs to care for his child and help him in more ways than he could ever imagine. Cassie and Austin are fantastic characters, they are down to earth, have real life problems and are perfect for each other. I have also loved the friendships that have been made in this small town, the people help each other and genuinely care for their friends and neighbors. This is another wonderful novel by Jill Kemerer, which is why I recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book. Opinions are my own.

The Cowboy’s Little Secret is a sweet, clean, heart-warming story set in Wyoming. It’s part of the Wyoming Ranchers series and stars rancher Austin Watkins and Cassie Berber, his little son AJ’s nanny. Talented author Jill Kemerer knows how to create realistic and engaging characters and build intriguing stories around them that keep me turning pages. Both Austin and Cassie have things in their pasts that impede them in their present relationships. When Cassie tells Austin she wants to move and make use of her education, Austin realizes he doesn’t want her to leave. There were more than a couple of times when I wanted to knock their heads together to get them to take a chance on each other. Little AJ is a charming addition to the story. Although this is part of a series, it can be read alone. It was fun, however, to see some of the other characters in the series pop up in this book. I’m excited to see what this author has in store for her readers next. I recommend this book to those who enjoy clean and wholesome contemporary fiction. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
