I received it yesterday, and I have already read it cover to cover. Its a great resource for DMs who love to challenge their players, but do not have a ton of time to spare. I have already worked a few of these traps into this weeks game.

Awesome book, with awesome additions! Seeing that the WebDM guys participated was even more awesome. 10/10! Lots of different traps from "ouch that hurts" to "where's my head?" - plus some one shots!

I am a busy DM, and so my prep typically consists of linking together encounters and one-shots found in supplemental books. I gave this a chance because I bought their Random Encounters book and found it pretty helpful. This book, though, totally blows it out of the water. You can feasibly make a dungeon in 5 minutes with the tables, and even taken as individual pieces, some of these traps and puzzles can work as entire encounters on their own. It makes the prep easy and exciting, and can also inform your world through reverse engineering. For instance, I happened to roll two music-related traps/puzzles in a row, so I scoured the book for similar stuff and found a haunted ballroom in the dungeons chamber, occupied by a ghostly harpist. Now, my world has a bard’s academy, with a secret basement dungeon hiding a lost composition, rumored to contain a powerful command spell within its notes. I came up with a whole hook based on a few random roles, and didn’t even have to do any work! I would recommend this to any DM looking to make their prep easier, as this is easily the most exciting and most useful supplemental text I’ve seen.

I get the first book from this guy: pretty good book. I get the second book from this guy: actually kinda amazing. Third round I pre-order the book and got it today, and open it up turn to a random page expecting to be inspired. Instant inspiration. I was kinda on the fence about the upcoming dragon book but at this point I'd donate the money.
