I am not sure if this is a Christian or Mormon book. However, clauses referring to Jesus's "God-given" power does not support the belief of the Holy Trinity. In another part, where the question is asked,"How did Jesus do that?", the response is "By the Grace of God,..." which seems to imply that Jesus is not God. This should just be considered if you are teaching your children about the Holy Trinity.

This book tells a story in sweet children's illustrations and words of a brother & sister getting lost in a snowy forest. Then they come upon a magical church, whose stained-glass windows tell a beautiful story of Jesus. All is well at the end! This is a book little kids will like just looking at the pictures, and a little older ones will read the narration with excitement.

This is a nice story about a boy and girl that find this church and the stained glass windows come to life. It’s a bit wordy for my young grandchildren, but the premise is unique and fun. The story really is geared toward a school age child.

Illustrations are pretty and the rhyming is ok. I liked the Bible stories the author included. However my kids couldn't get past the fact that the children in the story were lost and wandering around in the snow alone. It takes up a significant portion of the book, the church doors are locked, and then in the end the parents just say 'don't wander so far away next time'. Disappointing that the author couldn't find another way to frame the story.
