The Reverse Coloring Book™: The Book Has the Colors, You Draw the Lines!

The book has the colors, you draw the lines: the creative possibilities are endless!

Reverse coloring is a totally new idea in creativity and mindfulness: so simple, and so profoundly satisfying. Artist Kendra Norton created these beautiful and whimsical unfinished watercolors to provide a gentle visual guide for your own creativity and exploration.

Trace the shapes, draw in figures, doodle, shade, cover an area with dots. Each page is an invitation to slow down, let your mind drift, and be surprised by your own creativity. And because reverse coloring requires no "staying inside the lines," it empowers your artistic self-confidence while it calms the mind.

The Reverse Coloring Book™ includes 50 original works of art, printed on sturdy paper that's single-sided and perforated. All you need is a pen.

I am not an artist by any means, but sometimes I wish I was 🤣 and this book is so much fun! It doesn’t take much, you don’t even have to be super detailed, and perfection is not required for you to end up with a really fun, beautiful page.

I don't think of myself as an artist, so I loved the idea of having a little assistance. When I saw people and green picture before adding the lines I imagined a fantasy frog eggs/violets on a stalk. It was as if the colors on the page wanted me to break from what nature said and create my own flower hybrid and it turned out even better than I imagined! So enjoyable, so much possibility--no two interpretations will be alike and that thought makes me so happy! Don't think the book is all images that resemble flowers, it's far more diverse than that. Great present for anyone.

I've uploaded my finished pages. The quality of paper is great, you'll want to test your pen before drawing. I used a black flair pen or sharpie. Pages are perforated for removal and the designs are brilliant. I love the abstract doodled and colors are vibrant.

I have been wanting this "coloring book" for a long time. I finally had an excuse to buy it and it is amazing - even more beautiful than I thought it would be. The watercolor images allow you to create your own picture with the lines you add. Some of the images gently suggest what may be there, while others require true creativity to fill. The images are printed on beautiful, thick, perforated pages, which keep the ink from your pen from bleeding through to the following pages. I highly recommend this book. It is relaxing and a great outlet for creativity. Plus, you don't have to be an artist to do it - there is no wrong way to put the lines on the images.
