This story has twists and turns. It is better than the first book. I kind of wish some of the other characters were developed too. I am hoping the author writes more books with the other female characters being the lead heroines. Love truly conquers all. There was so much joy in the end. Great book!

If you’re looking for your next great epic fantasy to get lost in, this duet is it. The world building is indeed fantastic and the twists and turns kept me engrossed from beginning to end. So glad I waited for the second book to come out before starting the first because waiting would have killed me. A+

So, so, so good! I devoured this book! I do wish there was a little more to be known at the very end with Brie and Finn, but other than that, it was perfect. So much action, angst, suspense, with just the right amount of spice!

This book is full of dynamic characters and captivating relationships. I love that the author took her time to flesh out the story and build out the different realms of the world. Our protagonist, Brie, truly grows from the last book and realizes what’s truly important to her. She’s such a strong female character. The love triangle is written very realistically, and there are so many romantic and intimate moments. It was wonderful to see how Brie’s feeling and actions change over time towards Bash & Finn. The book is incredibly detailed, and I could not stop reading. I loved this sequel so much, and I had to take a moment to bask in my feels once I reached the end. Although, Brie’s story may have reached a tentative conclusion, I hope the author writes more prequels and spin-offs based on other characters as there are so many other stories that could be told. If you like faerie fantasy with descriptive world building, multi-faceted characters, beautiful romance scenes, self-discovery and amazing friendships.. this is the book for you! ❤️

I really enjoyed These Hollow Vows, and I honestly believe These Twisted Bonds knocked it out of the park as a sequel and an ending to the duology. These Twisted Bonds picks up after These Hollow Vows ended with Abriella confused and hurt and betrayed, on the run from her newly bonded. Brie is left to grieve her decisions. I loved Brie’s development. While it was difficult to continuously read about how she’s nothing more than a human girl, she does grow as a character. She struggles with her new life, and her grief and confusion is so well done. I’m left to reel with her through her conflicts. The magic system and world building developed in the first book only improves from there. The world is so fantastical, and the Abriella’s magic is interesting. The love triangle—if it even can be called that—was so heartbreaking for everybody involved. I usually hate the love triangle trope, but this was so well done and left a physical ache in my chest every time it’s brought up. I loved the ending, even if it felt a little rushed for such a big main conflict. It could’ve been extended to a trilogy, but I think the way ended was still beautiful.
