Vegan Boards: 50 Gorgeous Plant-Based Snack, Meal, and Dessert Boards for All Occasions

Finally, a book of beautiful food board ideas for snacks, parties, and family meals that fit your plant-based diet.

Serving artfully arranged foods on boards or platters is extremely popular, but until now, all the books on the subject have been full of meats, cheeses, and other animal products. Vegan Boards is the first book to make this trend accessible to people who follow a plant-based diet. The results are delectable-and gorgeous to behold.

In these pages, Kate Kasbee, co-creator of the popular blog Well Vegan, shows you how to create 50 stunning plant-based boards. Step-by-step instructions and a color photograph are included for each one. All the boards are remarkably easy to prepare and most require no cooking at all. Those that require cooking are simple to make, such as roasted vegetables, quesadillas, or bruschetta. You'll also find guidance on how to use equipment and utensils to make serving food on boards both beautiful and safe.

Treat your family and friends to enticing vegan boards for every occasion, from breakfast and brunch, grazing at home, and full meals to seasonal celebrations, special occasions, and dessert, including:

5 for creativity, 1 for execution and recipes. Not really a "cookbook". Sorry, I'm not one of the paid reviews they tricked us into reading.

There are some pretty good reasons for considering putting out a vegan spread when having people over. First, your vegan and vegetarian friends will definitely appreciate the effort. We're all pretty used to not being able to eat at parties, but it sure is nice to dig in like everyone else. Second, if you have international guests who may have religious diet restrictions such as keeping kosher or halal, without milk or meat on the menu, you avoid many embarrassing situations. Third, your guests may be surprised how much they enjoy vegan food and you'll definitely be setting yourself apart from the crowd. Plant-based living is the way of the future, so you'll be a trendsetter. I just picked up "Vegan Boards'" by Kate Kasbee. I'm particularly interested in the "Afternoon Tapas and Sangria Board" as it sounds like an instant party. The "Loaded Sweet Potato Fries Board" sounds amazing to go with vegan no-beans chili. Each board idea comes with gorgeous full-color photos and recipes and assembly instructions. I predict I'll be using it over and over.
