This beautiful book somehow managed to capture the love, pride, hopes, and dreams I have for my two young sons, and put it into words that made all three of us get tears in our eyes. My boys are 4 & 6, and we LOVE this book. It is longer than I expected, which was a wonderful surprise! I appreciate that the messages are universal — no religion tied in or anything like that, just the universal love of a mother for her son. The fact that this touched my sons’ hearts so deeply speaks volumes for both the words and illustrations. This book seemed to speak directly from my own heart, and I cannot recommend it enough!

I got this book for my wife to read to our son on Mother's Day. I took a look at the pages and its definitely going to make her emotional. The artwork is great and the words are very thoughtful. The pages are very thin though, so this is not a book to leave out where little hands can grab. Great Mother's Day gift!

I love this book. Although it written to encourage my son, it actually touches my heart while my son is away. I like to read it and I can’t wait to read it to him soon.
