What a beautiful and fun book!! My 8-year-old daughter and I spent an entire hour ooh'ing and ahh'ing over every single board and deciding which one we were going to make first! The pictures are absolutely beautiful and I love the step-by-step descriptions for creating each board. You can definitely tell that Maegan was so thoughtful in each of her creations. Looking forward to making my way through creating each board!

After reading this gorgeous book I have learned how to create beautiful charcuterie boards with confidence! My guests always appreciate such wonderful boards and think it takes forever to make them! But it's easy now with the bakermama's instructions and lovely photos. Such fun!

I am truly disappointed in this book. Most of the boards were not visually appealing and looked like they were composed by someone lacking worldly sophistication. There are very few interesting ideas and some are completely impractical. For instance, the pancake board - by the time one would arrange the pancakes as pictured they would be cold. The same for the taco board. A few of the children's themed boards were cute ideas for birthday parties. However, for those of us who have some skill set and aren't totally without artistic talent or imagination the book is amazingly lacking in originality. More antipasto boards (which is what began this entire "board" movement in the first place) would have been welcome. In addition, the recipes in the back of the book are basic and boring - grilled cheese, pigs in a blanket, etc. I recommend Pinterest for more interesting ideas for board concepts and for better recipes as well.

The book is cool and everything the pictures, recipes, the ideas are great but it just seems to me more of a Pinterest kind of vibe instead of a informative book that educate you on the types of cheeses you should use if you’re trying to make more of a savory kind of board or what cheeses not to use if you’re using certain fruits or other cheeses. If you’re just looking for more of a Pinterest inspiring board then this is a book for you if you’re looking for more informative about what cheeses to mix or not mix then this is not for you.
