At first I thought I had it figured out. The ride was enjoyable anyway. The ending, thoughtfully done. Goodbye, Eri.

I bought this on a gamble that It'd be a good read based off the artist/author, I was right that it was a good read but really weird, I might have to read it a few more times before I actually get it.

Love the bending of reality and fiction within the story itself. I also enjoyed the perspective of Yuta's camera and meta commentary on film making. My only complaint is that making this into a film would probably be the better medium for telling the story, but this is fairly minor.

I first read this manga on Shonen Jump’s streaming application a few years ago, and for a while after that, I called this my favourite manga. This is a heartwarming story of a boy setting out to improve his piece of art that was rejected by his peers. The boy spends his time perfecting his art, and soon he realizes the best way forward is to return to his roots. This was another great story by Fujimoto, alongside Look Back, released in print last year, Chainsaw Man, currently running, and many other great illustrated tales.
