Her Easter Prayer: An Uplifting Inspirational Romance (K-9 Companions, 4)

This is a Clean Inspirational Romance, and this is the fourth book in the K-9 Companions series. I have only read the first book in this series before picking up this book. This book does not have a K-9 police dog, but this book has a support dog in it. I love the characters in this book, and I love that the characters are over coming so much stuff. Lady is the support dog in this book, and she will take you heart from the first chapter. Dev is one of the main characters, and I love that he cannot read and this book brings light to adults learning to read late in life. They did a great job with the adult not being able to read. Emily is the other main character, and Lady is her support animal. Emily works with special needs kids, but she is trying to move on from the lost of her family in a fire. The messages in this book is very moving, and I love the characters in this book. Great Read and I loved every minute I spend with these characters. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

I loved this story. It showed how two flawed people, who didn’t think they deserved love, could find it. Emily didn’t think she was worthy of a family after losing hers. Dev didn’t think he was worthy of anyone because he couldn’t read. I loved the characters of Emily and Dev. And, of course, Landon and Lady. I also loved their friends and how they were an encouragement for each of them. This was a great book and I would recommend it. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and was not required to write a positive review.

What a very well written inspirational romance. The characters are believable and have good dynamics. Ms. McClain has written another good book 📚. My thanks to the author for my advance book. This is my unbiased review.

I found this author years ago with her original Bond series books. She’s one of my top go-to authors when I’m looking for heartfelt but not overly simplified Christian romance books. And Her Easter Prayer is only one reason why. The characters are far from perfect and struggle with significant issues. There’s not much preaching at the reader but rather heartfelt and Godly advice from secondary characters, always driving home the point that no one is beyond God's love. Easter is about celebrating the resurrection, and the hope left for us. Which is at the heart of this story, and it illustrates acceptance, kindness, and love powerfully. While it’s a part of a series, it’s a true standalone title. I haven’t read any of the other books, so I can’t speak about whether or not they are good reads. But I’m definitely here for more books by this author.

Her Easter Prayer by Lee Tobin McClain is book four in Harlequin’s Love inspired K~9 Companions series. Each book in the series is a standalone by a different author. Emily is still healing from her tragic past. How can she possibly help Dev and his eight-year-old son, Landon. Dev is a great dad, but he has a secret. How could he ever be worthy of Emily’s attention? Lee Tobin McClain does not disappoint. These characters are dynamic and entirely likable. The novel is very well-written and the plot holds the reader’s attention start to finish. Her Easter Prayer gets 5 out of 5 very enthusiastic stars. I fully enjoyed it and recommend it to all readers of chaste inspirational romance. My thanks to the author for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book.
