Not only does this book explain what is going on with our kids and then how to coach them and how to deal with. It also helps you understand what is going on with you and how to deal with it. I love this book and will definitely be re-reading, highly recommended

I have taken a few classes on Resilience to help with teaching preschoolers with trauma. This is an extremely helpful book to use for mental health and trauma. I can't wait to use some of her suggestions with my upcoming class this year. I just wish it was available sooner this summer. Thanks Dr. Caroline Leaf!

After growing up reading Dr. Leaf’s books, listening to her podcasts, and being changed by her heart and wisdom-I couldn’t wait to receive her newest books to help our kids! In a world where mental health has become a topic of medical labels, medicalizing, and more, Dr. Leaf brings a light to reveal the root issues and restore a path to identity, teaching us how to guide our children using real tools all while building resilience and confidence whatever we face at any age. I am so grateful for her work, and this book is a must read for every parent raising all of our amazing children!

After watching Dr. Caroline on the Ed Mylett show I knew I needed to get this book. Being a speaker, coach and podcast host, I am always learning and growing so that I can help others by adding value to their life and helping them. I love how Dr. Caroline breaks this down into bite size pieces for the adults and then breaks it down into language that children can understand too! This book is incredible and I am so thrilled she has done the studies on this and is getting this book out in the world!! Thank you!! Go buy it and buy one for a friend!!!

I've been using the "Switch On Your Brain" method and wishing for a way to help my daughter through some tough thoughts. This is wonderful! I'm so happy Caroline Leaf wrote a book for children! It's so important to teach "taking our thoughts captive" in the early stages of life to keep our brains decluttered of toxic thoughts and to set healthy patterns of detoxifying our thoughts! The book breaks the steps down into age groups 3-5 and 6-10, but I think it could be super helpful for pre-teens and teen, too! In fact, I like the simple method so much, I can follow along with my daughter to do my detoxing.
