This volume is almost entirely one story about a battle Royale between the entire student body, year vs year. It works Here because we know over 67 different characters from the previous works. So a character might pop up for just a couple of panels but you either remember or vaguely recognize X or Y and get to see how they handle a nerf gun war. It’s good fun but not a book to start with. To be fair, it’s volume 25 and not impenetrable but… I have enjoyed the journey to this point and will follow right to the end.
