This was the first chapter book set I got for my 6 year old who can read anything at this point. Not for beginner readers but we read these books together because I even like the stories.
I bought these books for my 6 year old grandson. He reads them with his mom every night before bed and he really enjoys them. Although he can’t yet read them independently, he looks forward to the stories, developing a love for books and reading.

My son collected these when he was younger. They are educational but in a way that kids enjoy. They inspired so much imaginative play. Now I am collecting them for my niece's children. The oldest is 8 and may be able to read them herself but they are great to read together.
