I read Nicole's first three books last year so I was anxiously waiting for this one. I was able to consume the book in a day and it is another home run from Nicole. She definitely makes finance much easier to understand with all of her books. Two thumbs up.

She continues to provide invaluable wisdom and advice in only the way she can-- with candor, simplicity, and her hilarious stories. This is a must-read! Each of Nicole Lapin's books are better than the last. Miss Independent is full of practical and applicable advice designed to be easy to understand. Unlike other finance books, you don't need a dictionary to understand. I just wish she would have written it sooner! This easy to read book will have you laughing while you learn how to invest in your future. My favorite quote is "Don't Marry Rich, be rich"
