Painted Scars (Special Edition Print) (Perfectly Imperfect)

Roman and Nina are the perfect couple! They have a great dynamic and I love the banter between the two. Roman is a true Pakhan that falls in love to a very beautiful, unique and intelligent woman. Yet he stays true to his title and character. Nina also stays true to herself, staying honest to her characters strength and uniqueness. I loved how the author did not make him stupid or her childish as some authors do to their main characters. I was glad there were no games in the relationship. It was very refreshing to want to finish as well as wanting to read more of her work. The story captivated me from beginning to end. No dragging things out, making it boring. I truly enjoyed this book! Perfection indeed!

I’m reading the series out of order. Lwt me preface with that bit of info. Why? Each story is a standalone and my petty self aim to prove it. It’s true! It’s true! I started with book two and it is a fabulous read! But this story……WOWSER!!! I love love love me some Ramon and Nina! Nina is not the typical female character. She’s five feet of pure personality! A lot of books I’ve returned in this genre are trash and DNF. The FC is usually some weak simpleton afraid of her own shadow. But not Nina! She’s the real MVP! Her boo….Ramon is AH-MAZINGLY tortured. That’s all you’re getting! LOL! I’m seeing a pattern with the heroes in this series and I absolutely LOVE IT! Don’t ask. Read the series and you will figure it out. Ramon and Nina made me laugh so hard! I felt like I was in the room with these two the entire time! They are so much fun! This story is a little darker than book two. There may be a trigger or two for some so read/proceed with caution. Neva is so talented! A true artist and an incomparable storyteller! This story is another five star read! Yep those who follow me know my tastes run pitch dark. Reading this series much less leaving a five star review is a huge deal! Bravo Neva! BRAVO!

It's been a while since I've read a story about Mafia.I love how it's not only revolving in a lot of killing and fighting. It has a nice plot and and spice on the right places. I love how badass Nina is to tame a man like Roman. Who won't fall for him? He is not a controlling beast and give Nina what she wants. I love a man like that, dangerous, dark and hot but forgiving and a caring man. Painted Scars is not a dark and trigerring story for me. I enjoy every bit of it. What a great start to read The Perfectly Imperfect Series. Highly recommended. I am excited to read the whole series.

I have ADHD and one day by tik tok I saw that Neva has a drawing of the protagonists in color on her website to download and print for FREE !!! I went and downloaded it and every time my ADHD kicks in I see the picture I printed and my imagination activates .THANKS Neva ♥️ The protagonist is rational, beautiful and they have not been around the bush... this is what has captivated me the most about this book, there is zero confusion due to lack of communication... both protagonists need and deserve each other. I want to start by saying something that is Super important for me and for all those people who speak Spanish but have some knowledge of English, this is a short, interesting and easy-to-read book, for a person who is just beginning to read in English. This book is FOR US !
