When we pre-ordered this months ago, it seemed like it would be a new story celebrating the 25th anniversary, not a reprint of the first book, which we already have. The new Dog Man comic is the only saving grace. We’re feeling pretty misled.

My kids just got into Captain Underpants, and we were thrilled to see a new book already out for pre-order! And a crossover with Dog Man!? Sounds perfect! Unfortunately, this book is just a reprint of the Full Color version of the first graphic novel. It IS the exact same book. The only thing that's different is a short comic at the end... and that doesn't even have a conclusion. It sets up a problem and then just says "to be continued." If you don't already own book 1 in color, then this might be worth it for you. But if you have book 1, don't bother. It's not worth the price just for a bit of unfinished extra content.

Hey Dav, I see you released a new title, I just read it and can't hope to notice this is the second unfinished comic, can you please resolve them? We have the one in Captain underpants 11 and now this one, the "to be continued" never gets resolved.
