There may well be elements of a thriller in there but sadly by the time I’d waded trough two chapters of stereotypical shallow characteristic and soft porn I really couldn’t face the rest of it . Didn’t grip me at all

I wavered between awarding two stars or three and finally decided on three because I did finish the book and did not come across any editing faults in the grammar or punctuation. However I am being generous with my stars because the bad language throughout was a massive turn off with the f-word occurring many times throughout, sometimes more than once on a page. Also the characters were, without exception, nasty, and shallowly portrayed. The plot became farcical towards the end and although I like a thriller I was disturbed by the ending. If this was the author's goal, to be disturbing - she certainly managed it. Some people might enjoy a tale like this. I am sorry not to give a better review, but I shall not read any more of this author's future work.

It was excellently written!! I couldn't put it down!! I read the entire book in one day. I loved the writing style, this novel is written to grab your attention from the first few pages. I have been reading books all day since we have been in lockdown from covid19, i have to say this was hands down the best read of 2020. The novel was amazing at holding my attention, I loved how the book started out with a very detailed crime, I never would have been able to write such an amazing first chapter/novel. I felt myself wanting/ needing to keep reading because the plot was amazingly written and flowed flawlessly throughout the book I couldn't wait to see how everything came together for all of the characters. THIS IS A MUST READ PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER!! You won't regret reading it!

Didn't care for the writing style - I found it to be repetitive with many useless descriptions and unnecessary details. Didn't care for the characters at all, so it was impossible for me to be interested in the story... The husband came across as supremely smarmy, while his wife was just a shell of a character who just didn't resonate with me at all.... To be honest, I bailed out about a third of the way through because there are just too many amazing books out there to read.
