The book offers an assortment of recipes from many different regions in FFXIV. The recipes include an array of different skill levels. There is also a cute story to go along with the recipes where we are go on an adventure with our Namazu friend & their Moogle sidekick. Truly a great edition for any FFXIV fan!!! While I haven't made anything out of the book yet the recipes are easy to understand & would be great for even a non FFXIV player. I can't wait to use it to level up my IRL culinary skills. WASSHOI!!!

Some very good basic recipes in here and some nice challenges for those who may be leveled a bit higher in culinary. The photos are gorgeous and the artwork is super cute. There are some unique/less common ingredients you may not have in your standard pantry for these recipes such as beet sugar but there is a handy dandy guide at the beginning of the book that explains all of them and some possible substitutes for a few.

Excellent quality of the craftsmanship, and a decent spread of difficulty for the recipes. Lovely tidbits of lore throughout. Overall, this is a thoughtful addition to any fan's kitchen, whether they be a master culinarian or on their first venture into cooking. I highly recommend it.

I love this book!! All the pictures are crisp and gorgeous, the recipes sound delicious and with easy to follow steps, and all the little story writing has so many lovely nods and references to jokes and characters in the game that really shows a lot of love went in to this (Ishgardian Salt Rock, anyone?) But, truly, it's is wonderful- I actually splurged for the spiral version too so I don't mess up the hardcover's spine while I cook. (And I know a lot of people are complaining about the cake, but if you read it... it's not the starlight cake. It's the cake that makes the fat chocobos fly. :) Thus, Chocobo Cake.)

I LOVE this book! It shows you how to make some of your favorite in game recipes from Final Fantasy XIV Online. There's pictures for each recipe, allowing you to feast with your eyes to decide what recipes you want to cook. I can't wait to make a Starlight Dodo for Thanksgiving! Its going to be an Eorzean holiday this year and I just can't wait!
