Who Do I Think I Am?: Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams
This hilarious and thoughtful memoir from comedy legend Anjelah Johnson-Reyes explores questions of identity, belonging, and her two dreams as a kid: to be an actress and to be a chola.
You may know Anjelah Johnson-Reyes for her viral sketch "Nail Salon" (over 100 million views globally) or her beloved MadTV character Bon Qui Qui, but it's her clean humor and hilarious storytelling that make her one of the most successful stand-up comedians and actresses today.

So I gave this a try and would suggest library copy instead. I was thinking it would be a lot funnier, it is interesting to learn about her life of course and she's great. So sweet to hear she is expecting, I wish her all the best and hope to see her live stand up one day.

Anjelah’s book is as funny and honest as her stand up comedy routines. Funny, thoughtful, open, hilarious with her renaming of questionable characters in her life, yet brutally insightful and constantly questioning. A warm letter to fans and the public at large.

Great read that I easily related to. Read for my book club that expected continual funny anecdotes from the well-known comedian. I related to so much of the story. Thoroughly enjoyed!
