I have to be honest, it seems unrealistic how much danger Eve is always in. But, if we simply accept it as different rules applying to fiction- I enjoyed this story about Eleni. Riley and Cade were great additions to the story. I hope to see them again in future stories.

Iris Johansson has done her usual good job in her latest Eve Duncan outing!! I never get tired of Eve and her family and friends! The plot was inventive and fast paced!!! It almost makes you wish the fights between good and evil would never end and I guess as long as the author continues to use Eve Duncan as her lead character it will not end!!

I have read every book in this series and was disappointed that the story line was not about Eve and Joe but a new character and their story so I felt cheated missed the normal tense story line that is usually a Eve Duncan story.

From the first page to the last, the story was filled with the good guys versus bad guys plot that kept me turning each page with bated breath! I would recommend this book and all Iris Johansen novels to those seeking adventure and on the edge of the seat thrills!
