Adorable illustrations and cute rhymes; I'm sure my son will love it. There is one page that oddly didn't make sense to me... you have to read the page on the right first, then lift the flap back on the left page to finish the rhyme. Not something a 2.5 year old needs to understand to really follow along, but seemed like an odd design choice to me. All the other pages read left to right, with the flap on the right page.

We got this book for our toddler for Easter because he loves the Construction Site books. He loves them so much that he is warn one completely out. We ended up getting the hard pages edition, and we love it. The hard pages edition comes with flaps that fold up on the pages to reveal things that are a part of the story. If this is your first Construction Site book, I recommend looking into the others from this series as well especially if your little one is into construction trucks.

Took off a star because this is a board book, not a hardcover. We have this series in hardcover and this was definitely disappointing when I saw the size but still great for an Easter basket item.
