Fantastic Four: Full Circle
NATIONAL BESTSELLER
An all-new Marvel Comics graphic novel starring the Fantastic Four, written and illustrated by renowned artist Alex Ross
It's a rainy night in Manhattan and not a creature is stirring except for . . . Ben Grimm. When an intruder suddenly appears inside the Baxter Building, the Fantastic Four-Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards), the Invisible Woman (Susan Storm Richards), the Human Torch (Johnny Storm), and the Thing (Ben Grimm)-find themselves surrounded by a swarm of invading parasites. These carrion creatures composed of Negative Energy come to Earth using a human host as a delivery system. But for what purpose? And who is behind this untimely invasion?
The Fantastic Four have no choice but to journey into the Negative Zone, an alien universe composed entirely of anti-matter, risking not just their own lives but the fate of the cosmos!
Fantastic Four: Full Circleis the first longform work written and illustrated by acclaimed artist Alex Ross, who revisits a classic Stan Lee–Jack Kirby story from the 1960s and introduces the storyline for a new generation of readers. With bold, vivid colors and his trademark visual storytelling, Ross takes Marvel's first team of super heroes to places only he can illustrate. The book also features a special poster jacket, with the front flap unfolding to reveal an all-new fully painted origin story of the Fantastic Four.

First class treatment for Marvel's often overlooked flagship title. Story, dialogue, artwork, panel design, printing -- all sublime from the pens, brushes, and creativity of Alex Ross. The F4 take another trip to the Negative Zone and reconnect with a (truly) classic tale of Lee and Kirby. So worth it time and tag. Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben are back.

Alex Ross creates an outstanding addition to early Fantastic Four history. Weaving togeather several plot lines over the course of his tale, and including many subtle callbacks to early 60's comics, including a full page homage to one particular Kirby page from 1962. True devotee's of the FF will want to add this to their collection! Excelsior!

It's a quick read being only 64 pages long but it's the stunning art by Alex Ross that had me looking through the book over and over. The amount of detail Alex Ross puts into each page is truly amazing. And the coloring that Mr Ross and Josh Johnson provide only add to this instant classic. I highly recommend picking this one up before it's sold out.

The reason I enjoyed reading the Fantastic Four was not for the battles, although I do like fights, but for the exploration of the universe. I go to the FF for wonder. It’s my superhero version of the Indiana Jones stories. It appeals to me like the Lost In Space series did when I was younger. And this story is a great example of the best the Fantastic Four can offer. Thank you.

This is a tour de force of Fantastical Four goodness. Readers of the Lee & Kirby era, and even the John Buscema era that followed in the early 1970s, will love this. The artwork is inspired by Kirby’s widescreen imagination, but it doesn’t mimic Kirby, nor does it look like Alex Ross’ superhero photo realistic paintings. If you remember the black light glow in the dark posters of the 70s, the color scheme resembles that. The story itself involves a trip to the Negative Zone with nods to classic FF stories taking place in the Zone. Love, love the format of the hardcover, pages larger than a normal comic. $24 for 64 pages of a complete story, very much worth it to me.
