Honestly, probably the best put together book on PCOS I've seen, and believe me since my diagnosis I've read all of them. Relatable 100% from the struggle, and it's great to have recipies that actually look amazing !

You can tell a whole lot of love went into creating this book. There is so much information on the female cycle and pcos, is definitely not just a cookbook. The recipes are to die for, but simple to understand and easy to execute. IN LOVE!

I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 12 years old which at the time I thought was great. No periods every month woohoo or so I thought. As I got older I felt very alone and the doctors didn’t know how to help me except lose weight ( I weighed 115lbs) and to go back when I wanted to get pregnant. Here I am at 32 with the doctors and OB/GYN telling me the same thing and nothing has been fixed. Until I found Tom and Rachel on IG one day and I was like what other women suffer from pcos to? I followed them on their journey trying to conceive without medication and saw it was possible. Food is the medicine. I’ve learned so much more from this book than from all the doctor visits I had and finally I can see what foods do what to my body and hormones. Also they include what labs to ask for to check were your hormones can be lacking so you can fix it. They give you a head start with recipes but I do wish there were more in the book but that’s what @mealssheests is for right? I cannot thank these two human beings enough for making me feel seen validated and not crazy. The path is a bit clearer now. Thank you.

I’ve followed Tom’s Instagram since almost the beginning of his journey, little did I know that one day when I saw a tiktok from Rachael of she and Tom icing each other on their wedding that it was the same person…until I then saw she posted about her finding his Instagram account dedicated to these recipes for her PCOS. I will proudly say I have been a big fan since very early on. I’ve almost attended their college meals when I was still in school, but never lined up with my schedule on the weekends! (RIP) Anyway, I do not have PCOS but I admire how to help your body by eating certain foods that are best during each part of your cycle. I have PMDD and would eventually love to help myself naturally and not on the pill. I’ve made a few recipes I’ve saved from Tom’s Instagram (the mac and cheese one is so good) and now I don’t have to scroll through them all to find which ones I’d like to make! I personally love that there is a lot of information about your cycle and PCOS throughout the book. I may be biased because I truly love how kind these two are, and know they have some of the kindest hearts out there. I’m so incredibly proud of Rachael and Tom to where they are today. These two are wonderful parents, and great authors too 😉. Congrats again, you two!

I saw some 1 star reviews because of the lack of an unsigned slip cover. Guys, literally check your emails and spam folders, the signed slips ship separately. Also even if that was the case you shouldn’t give it lower than 4 stars just to spam ratings. Now onto this book, it made me feel very validated and seen. It just took a lot of work I’d have to do away in explaining how to regulate my exercise and what foods to eat/avoid on different times of the month. I’ve had pcos and I was only diagnosed my first or second year of college. By then I’d suffered so much weight gain, my stress was unmanageable, and I didn’t know what was wrong. In fact I self diagnosed myself, and had to find an OBGYN that actually understood my symptoms. Sadly even though my OBGYN knew the symptoms, all she could tell me was eat healthy and exercise. The specifics of what to eat and how to exercise I would have to research and do trial and error with. I’ve been so busy with college and it’s very hard to organize things—or feel like what I’m doing is right. I love the recipes in here, they’re all items I can find in my pantry. The recipes are easy to follow. I look forward to starting my journey and testing out this book, but so far it seems perfectly in line with my needs. Thank you Tom and Rachel.
