Right Man, Right Time (Vancouver Agitators)

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, comes a new fake dating, standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can't get enough of. This steamy, age-gap romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while making your cheeks blush at the same time.

Running into your ex is never ideal.
Running into your ex who is now dating your nemesis is a literal nightmare.

That's how I found myself in a sheer panic, reaching for the closest guy at the bar and kissing him. And to my delight he was easily the most attractive man I've ever seen.

The only problem is, when I tried to walk away after thanking him for his help, he stopped me with three life-changing words . . ."You owe me."

That's how I found myself, a college girl, in a fake relationship with a professional hockey player ten years older than me.

At first it was easy.
He helped me with my internship.
I helped keep his ex away from him.
We were becoming fast friends.

It wasn't until he started staying the night at my dorm did the rules of our arrangement become complicated.

Now my feelings are involved and even though I kissed the right man at the right time, I'm worried he's just waiting for the clock to run out.

Started this book this morning and didn't put it down until I had read every last word. Now I read A LOT, there's never a time that I don't have a book on the go. I've always said if a book can make you laugh or cry then you've found yourself one hell of a talented author.. when I say this book had me in tears from laughing, full on laughing out loud, odd looks from my husband kinda laughing. It was just fantastic! Plus the steam 🔥 Holy smokes. I never ever go for age gap romance but something with this one pulled me in and I'm so glad it did. The banter and sass, the characters, the male lead 😍 love that the female lead was confident and fiery too. If you are looking for something to dive into then don't hesitate in giving this a one click. It will 100 percent be going on my list of books I could read again. 👏 👏 👏

Well what can I say that hasn’t already been said? Meghan Quinn is the queen of rom com, no one comes close. Silas and Ollie’s story is right up there as one of the best, the funniest, the steamiest. I had forgotten how much I love the Agitator boys, the dynamic between them is hilarious and cute and heartwarming. We get to catch up with others from previous books, also crossover characters like JP ( sadly no Kazoo in this one), Ryot etc. Thank you Meghan Quinn for sharing your genius with us.

I love this series and the Vancouver Hockey guys! But what have they done to the covers? (More ranting about the covers below). And why aren't these books grouped as a series yet on amazon? Silas was cheated on by his long term, high school girlfriend , Sarah (who really must have been crazy to look for something else and let this fine man go.. Or the sexual chemistry just wasn't there between them). But what is weird is how sexually confident Ollie is yet she has only slept with one man who was mediocre. This is a slow burn and I loved the build up as they get to know each other and the sexual attraction builds and it's clear they are going to be scorching together! I liked their age gap, the fact that they are so opposite in some ways and how sassy Ollie is, teasing Silas about being old. I liked the supporting characters. I love the hockey boys and seeing Ollies friend Ross meet his dream man. The new illustrated covers are awful. Why is this the trend? Is there a shortage of male models? Or has the cost of using models on covers increased? I like the hot pictures on covers as it helps me to choose the books and visualise the guys as I'm reading. Even though I read on kindle I often go back to the cover to see how well the model fits with the authors description. Are the illustrated covers supposed to make romance books more fun or socially acceptable? Or trying to increase readership to include snobbish readers who would never choose a book with a sexy man in the front? I hate the fact that they've changed the covers for the last 2 books. The original kiss and don't tell cover was amazing! I wouldn't have picked any of the books based on the new illustrated covers.. Especially right man right time. Ollie looks like a kid and it looks like Silas is fighting her off with his hockey stick!

Loved this book, there was an energy about it. Possibly more from Ollie who once started talking couldn't stop, just loved her and her ways. Silas didn't know what hit him , struggling with trust issues due to his ex, Ollie just sailed into his life and made it better. The banter with these two was great, who had the upper hand , it went back and forth. The age gap showed sometimes that Ollie was mature and understanding, but she had a silly side to her that Silas began to work with and love. Then it went badly wrong , the trust issue became a major factor. I hurt for Ollie and in someways she should have had more of a discussion with Silas over mistreatment of her, but that's me I like a good grovel. Loved it

Brought to you by OBS reviewer Heidi The two were never supposed to have even met. However, when Ollie was feeling the pressure of her nemesis co-worker, Candace, calling her out on her fictional fake boyfriend she made up on the spot, she had to act. And did I mention Ollie’s ex was there too since Candace is now dating him! Ollie zoomed in on the first guy she saw that was by himself, gave him a warning, and then kissed him for all she was worth. Luckily, he went along with it. However, his words as she walked away froze her in her tracks. You owe me. The man just happened to be professional hockey player Silas Taters from the local team, the Vancouver Agitators. Not being a sports fan, Ollie had no clue. Some would call that a crime living in Canada and not following the hocky scene. All she knew is the man was hot! What could he possibly need or want from her? It turns out he is need of a fake girlfriend to get his own ex off his back … and other places. Ollie could use Silas’s help as well as she was just given her final assignment for her internship for her journalism degree, the grade that will pass or fail her. Her subject she must write her final paper on? Hockey! You know the sport she knows nothing about and the one Silas makes a living playing? The two decide a fake relationship, complete with a no whorehouse clause, is the perfect way to help each other out. But can the two keep up the charade without falling into real feelings or giving their farce away? Only time will tell! This is the first book that I’ve read in this series, but it’s actually the third installment. Luckily, it’s a romance though, which are pretty easy to pick up from anywhere in the series. This book was no exception. Ollie is a fun and zany character. I could definitely imagine her grating on one’s nerves in real life though. Poor Silas, the story she concocted on the fly about how they met (despite them having already agreed on a completely different story), did not put him in a good light. He does seem to be able to roll with her crazy punches though, whether he wants to or not. I was a little sad she gave up on the Tater tot nickname for Silas though. That one was gold. I liked Silas most of the time. He seemed like a genuinely thoughtful guy. However, his ex hurt him pretty badly and his trust issues leave him irrationally angry at times. Twice he blew up at Ollie without even letting her explain and then later realizing it for the huge mistake it was. You’d have thought he’d have learned something the first time. Although I can understand, his reaction the second time. It was a pretty big deal and kind of hard to believe what actually happened. This book had some great secondary characters as well. Ollie’s best friend, Ross, was fun. And, I loved Silas’s teammates. I definitely w...
