The Resurrected Jesus: The Church in the New Testament
#1 nationally best-selling author of Jesus is Risen and Jesus on Trial returns with his coauthor and daughter for the final installment in his hugely popular Jesus series, challenging the modern church to reexamine the compelling testimony of early Christians. Limbaugh, a believing lawyer and brother of the late great Rush Limbaugh, and Christen Limbaugh Bloom engage history and logic to develop deeper understanding and stronger faith in the divinity of Christ, the resurrection, and the life everlasting Jesus promises.
The Resurrected, Conquering Jesus
In the fifth and final installment of his bestselling Jesus series, David Limbaugh digs into the New Testament epistles with passion and imagination, showing that the testimony of Jesus' earliest followers provides irrefutable proof of His resurrection.
Inspired by God and penned by the apostles, the epistles were written to the first Christians to proclaim the divinity of Christ and to encourage them to persevere through persecution, famine, sickness, and doubt.
On a lawyerly quest for truth, Limbaugh looks behind these biblical texts, exploring the lives of their authors, who included some of those closest to the Lord-his most intimate friends, Peter and John, and his own kinsmen James and Jude. The result is an unforgettable encounter with Jesus.
The Resurrected Jesus speaks to the struggles the church faces today, strengthening believers and challenging doubters with the eyewitness accounts of the messengers who travelled far and wide to proclaim the resurrected Christ.

David and Christen did a phenomenal job with this book! As I was reading it, I constantly found myself being more and more in awe of who Jesus is, how His character influences everything, and what we, as the church, can continue to learn from Jesus. Also, the way that David and Christen use Paul's life and writings helps drive home the point that, because of the Holy Spirit, what we are being asked to do, as followers of Jesus, is very possible, we just have to surrender, trust, and obey. This book refreshed my faith and is worth the read!

Excellent finale to Limbaugh's series on Jesus the Messiah! What a beautiful distillation of the best of work in Christian scholarship into one book. Sola Deo Gloria!

This book is a Must Read!! Authors David Limbaugh and his daughter Christen Limbaugh Bloom delve into the deeper meaning and context of the Epistles of Paul, the Apostle. Yet they even go far beyond that! They do an outstanding job of applying those Biblical truths to the events of modern day America, and how we as Christians should be praying and seeking God in regard to them. This is a realm in which the Church of the 21st Century has been sadly lacking and, too often, totally indifferent. Thank you David and Christen for taking on this all important task, and helping to open eyes!

"The Resurrected Jesus" will take you on a wonderful tour through the section of the Bible that has the most insights for everyday Christian living than virtually anywhere else— Paul’s prison and pastoral letters. And David Limbaugh and Christen Limbaugh-Bloom deliver! This book will not only renew your mind, it has a devotional feel that will nourish your soul. Like skilled storytellers, this father and daughter team will make you think the Apostle himself has come back to narrate and expound his own letters! An enlightening read for both the new believer and long-time Christian. Highly recommended.
