The Unknown (Krewe of Hunters, 35)

Someone wants to watch the city burn…

Sienna Murray was only fourteen when she pulled her neighbors out of a raging house fire. A decade later, she still can’t explain what happened that night, how she knew to save them at just the right moment—or why she receives the same mysterious warning when it happens again…

New member of the Krewe of Hunters elite paranormal team Detective Ryder Stapleton doesn’t believe in coincidences. So when the suspicious fire he’s called to investigate reveals a cryptic link to Sienna, he can’t help but think the unassuming museum curator has something to hide. But he soon discovers they have more in common than he ever thought—and a growing attraction neither can deny.

If they're going to have a future, Sienna and Ryder need to catch a serial arsonist roaming the shadowy streets of New Orleans…before the city burns down around them.

Heather Graham did it again. This book will keep you guessing who did it. The end I Nguyen was a surprise. I love the love story too. I follow the Krewe of Hunters series and look forward to the next one.

This has to be the best book Heather has written yet. The suspense kept you waiting to see who was involved. And watching another couple falling in love! And learning the history of New Orleans is very educational.. will anxiously wait for the next book.

Finally! I was about to give up on these books because the paranormal parts had all but disappeared from the last two. I honestly thought someone else had been writing them. I have collected all the Krewe of Hunters books and none had gone downhill like the last two. This one is back on track with a great story and an entertaining spirit. I will definitely keep adding to my collection.

Usually there is a thicker plot and more build up of characters and personalities. Like so many prolific authors, steven King comes to mind, after writing so many great books, his last books the past ten years seem to be just thrown together. Felt the same in this book. Slow down, instead not going after the almighty $$, get back to more content. Sorry but just my thoughts. Still a fan!

Granny K might be one of my favorite ghosts of the series. Fires and ghosts and romance …oh my ? The Krewe is back, but with a new soon to be agent who was in previous stories as a NOLA detective. The crimes span a 10 year window and different cities. I did not figure out who was guilty until the end and I loved how all the pieces came together. Great characters and fully developed story. The romance is quick, but it is also fitting with how their emotions worked on chemistry vs the crime and friendships. Angela and Fin front wheel Krewe had some roles and the ability to talk to Ghosts was more normal for the story. Good addition of history through the museum and get. Another fun story and good addition to the series!
