WtDM is a light and breezy read, but I was surprised by some of the omissions. There are no interviews with Mindy Kaling or BJ Novak and Craig Robinson only shows up in the book rather late. Final seasons of the show are given pretty short shrift. If you are an Office fan who doesn’t listen to the podcast the interviews come from you’ll most likely learn a few new things. Also fun are the personal pictures from the author. The affection Baumgartner and his cast mates share is noticeable and makes you feel closer to the actors and their characters. I liked this book, it just could have been even better with a bit more patience.
