The Fine Print Special Edition (Dreamland Billionaires)

Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings.
Not when we're destined to ruin them.

Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything.
Especially not us.

Dreamland Billionaires is the first book in a series of interconnected standalones following three billionaire brothers.

I loved this story from start to finish. Couldn't stop reading it. Loved Zahra and Rowan! How their characters were written and how their romance developed felt raw and real to me and I was so invested in them and just wanted them to be together so much. On a personal note as someone that has children with extra support needs the things mentioned in the story about inclusion for all for those with visible and invisible disabilities really hit me in the feels and had me crying making me more emotionally invested in this story. Thank you to the writer for that. Great writing! Great story! Hoping the story will carry on with what happens for his brothers.

“To love someone else means to trust them enough to not abuse the power they have over you” Can you think of anything better than an enemies to lovers workplace romance set at a Disney-esque theme park? Me either. Lauren Asher is just the most fantastic author, let me tell you what made this book special for me… - Disability rep - LGBTQ+ rep - Mental health rep - Armenian MC - Single parent upbringing - Discussions on class, working conditions, healthcare benefits and employee rights - Discussions around grief - Discussions tackling toxic behavioural patterns - Friends w benefits - Workplace romance - Boss/employee - Grumpy/sunshine - Billionaire romance - Off the charts spice The only way I can describe this book is pure magic!

I’ve never really read a book with the grumpy/sunshine trope because it never really appealed to me but as a major fan of Lauren Asher, I wanted to give The Fine Print a go. To say this book was good is an understatement. It’s an easy read that will leave you wanting more - specifically Declan’s and Cal’s stories. The characters of Rowan and Zahra are relatable and believable; they’re so well written that you can feel their pain and their happiness. Lauren’s writing makes you smile and laugh but also she’d a few tears at some points. I’ve rated this book 4/5 stars; I haven’t given it the full five stars only because rating a book 5 stars is rare for me. If you love easy banter, lots of chemistry, a fair amount of steam, grumpy/sunshine characters and workplace romance, this book is for you.

"Take a man out to dinner first." "Does my p***y count?" 🥵 - and that sets the tone for the spice... 🥵🥵🥵 All I really knew about this book going into it was that it was about rich brothers, a place very similar to Disneyworld, and lots of my favourite Booktokers loved it. And I was pretty hooked straight away. I love an enemies to lovers trope and I'm a massive Disney fan (I've been to Disneyland Paris five times and Disneyworld three times 🙌🏼). AND there was lesbian representation pretty early on so tick tick tick from me! There was also grumpy/sunshine and I think it's important to point out that this book has a playlist at the start, as some people are into that (I personally don't listen to an awful lot of music). This was one of the first books I've ever read where a character who has a large part in the story has Downs Syndrome. And what I loved even more was that the Author didn't make a big thing of it. The Fine Print is told from the perspectives of both Rowan and Zahra and Zahra is utterly brilliant. I'm very interested to see if the rest of the series runs parallel to this one with the other brothers' stories or if they run one after the other as it seems like they all need to be acting out their 'missions' at the same time otherwise the other brothers are sat around doing nothing? I loved the addition of an 'Extended Epilogue' so we got three to five years later from both of their point of views. As much as I loved Rowan, I reckon I'm going to enjoy Declan and Cal's stories even more. And the presentation made me cry. That is all.

I honestly don't know what to say. I loved everything about this! We got sneak peeks about the next books, I'm hoping or I could be completely imagining things. Like I can see Declan and Iris being together hopefully the next book and then Cal's book being a second chance romance maybe. I'm also kind of hoping a little that the dad gets a book too because he also received a letter-- but that's just hopeful thinking. Honestly, there were so many parts that were my favorite in this book. <spoiler> My absolute favorite part was Rowan telling the story behind how he and his brothers got their middle names.</spoiler> This book was the perfect length. I feel like I got everything from this story about Rowan and Zahra. You got important parts of both family dynamics and history. I absolutely loved the extended epilogue. To read about Rowan becoming a dad and having a daughter first. OMG! I was in absolute love. Because his character development was off the charts. Oddly enough when authors tend to write about brothers they always start with the oldest. I loved that you started somewhere different.
