Twisted Lies - Special Edition

He'll do anything to have her...including lie.

Charming, deadly, and smart enough to hide it, Christian Harper is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman.

He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can't deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him.

She's the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can't solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can't refuse.

Every monster has their weakness. She's his.

His obsession.

His addiction.

His only exception.

Sweet, shy, and introverted despite her social media fame, Stella Alonso is a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage.

Between her two jobs, she has little time or desire for a relationship.

But when a threat from her past drives her into the arms-and house-of the most dangerous man she's ever met, she's tempted to let herself feel something for the first time in a long time.

Because despite Christian's cold nature, he makes her feel everything when she's with him.

Passionate.

Protected.

Truly wanted.

Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted by lies…and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.

Twisted Hate is the fourth and final book of the Twisted series but can be read as a standalone.

“The world wasn’t black and white, no matter how much I wished it were. And sometimes, we found our happiness in the shades of gray.” I know this is supposed to be a straightforward review but honestly I have questions that need to be addressed: - What was this? 😱 Letters, Ana. Letters?! Do you know what those letters did to me?!? They made me feel things, Ana. Things. I can’t stop hugging this book, Ana. This is unhealthy. - Italy?! ITALY??? Are you kidding me?! How can any of my next vacations even compare now?! - Fake dating?! Force proximity?! Grumpy x sunshine?! Only one bed?! How is this even fair?! I didn’t stand a chance. Not that I wanted to because Twisted Lies has replaced Twisted Games as my favorite Twisted book. Things you should know: the plot is incredible, Alex and Rhys are still top tier, we still very much enjoy J & J’s banter and Magda is the gift that keeps… being ugly. Ahhhhhhh! Christian’s favorite color is black. Mine is now… morally gray 😎 and I might have found happiness in all (his) the shades of gray. I can’t believe the Twisted series is over. It stole my heart so completely that something feels off now, knowing there won’t be another Twisted book. 🖤 Adult. 5 stars ⭐️

This was the perfect story to end this series. I loved everything about it. Stella has always been somewhat of a mystery in the other books. We know she is private and we know she's an influencer, but that's about all we knew until now. After Jules moves out of the apartment she shared with Stella, Stella wasn't sure how she could pay the rent alone. So Christian, the owner of the building made another deal with her so she could stay. Christian had his own reasons for this that we find out later in the story. In the meantime, Stella and Christian come to another agreement; fake relationship to help her gain a bigger online following and securing a sponsorship, and for him to have a date to various events. When a stalker that had been dormant for 2 years comes back into the picture, Christian, a security expert, assigns her a bodyguard and has Stella move into his apartment to keep her safe. Going out to galas and dinners, acting like a couple and living in close proximity, the sexual tension is off the charts! Eventually that tension breaks when they give into it. But there is so much more going on in this story than just a couple falling for each other. Someone in Christians life is betraying him. Stella's stalker is getting bolder. Her family is putting stress on her. And what is so important about that painting? This story takes several twists and turns, but wraps up the entire series perfectly. I loved every couple from every book and as happy as I am with how it all came to a close, I'm a little sad that is over. There is another couple in this book that will be the start of a new series though, so I'm hopeful that in the next series, that we will get a glimpse of the 4 couples we've gotten to know and love.
